US Debt Compass is an informational site. Calculator values stay in your browser and are not sent to us. We do not ask for a Social Security number, account number, password, or full financial record.

Analytics

The site uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate page visits and clicks. We do not send calculator inputs, phone numbers, complaint notes, or debt balances as analytics event values.

Who Called Me?

If you submit a phone report, we store the normalized phone number, the company name you entered, optional notes, submission time, and a one-way hash of the source IP address for abuse prevention. Do not submit personal names, account numbers, addresses, or other sensitive information. Reports are unverified and may be removed when they violate the site's safety or accuracy standards.

Public complaint data

Complaint pages are derived from the CFPB Consumer Complaint Database. We do not publish private complaint narratives or identify individual consumers.
